Khandelwal Vaishya is a Vaishnava community originally from Khandela, a historical town in northern Rajasthan. The Khandelwal Vaishya community can be further subdivided into 72 gotras. Marrying a person of the same Gotra is prohibited in the community.
They are distinct from Khandelwal Jains (Saraogi) and Khandelwal Brahmins.
A temple complex near Khandelwal village known as "KHANDELA DHAM" has been built. In addition to individual temple of all Devi listed below, temples of Lord Ganeshaji and another temple of Mahadevji has been built here. It is taking the shape of biggest pilgrimage for all Khandelwal Vaishya families.
